⭐ What is a zine?
Zines have a long and humble history, but usually refers to a fan anthology (a collection of fanmade, unofficial works such as artwork and written pieces revolving around a certain fandom or theme) these days.⭐ What is the theme of this zine?
As with Volume 1, we aim to feature most of the games in the series and focus on the camaraderie and bonds the party forms over time via our chosen theme: food! Each piece will feature the Tales characters and either a single or group of recipes (e.g. desserts) as its focus, and scenes relevant to food (e.g. camping) will also be included.As we are looking for group-focused representation, pieces focusing singularly on single characters will be regulated, and ships kept to a minimum and canon-compliant. Crossovers are welcome and highly encouraged!⭐ Will the zine be physical or digital?
The zine will be available in both digital format as well as published as a physical fanbook, with the option to purchase additional fan merchandise.⭐ Will the zine be for profit or for charity?
The zine is for profit. All contributors will receive at minimum a digital copy of the zine. If funds allow, we hope to compensate each contributor with a full bundle with shipping accounted for, and any leftover profits will be split among the mods and contributors.⭐ Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes, but do note that if you apply as a Writer and a Page/Merch Artist, you will only be accepted under one role.⭐ Will you be featuring cosplayers?
While we would absolutely love to have cosplayers in the zine, the nature of the theme makes it harder to incorporate them (compared to a character/title-focused zine) as we would require group photos to be submitted, which in turns makes it ambiguous on who to compensate.We would, however, love to help share your lovely cosplays on our Twitter platform, so please feel free to tag us in your posts!⭐ Is shipping available worldwide?
We will be shipping oders from the US! Shipping locations will ultimately depend on the availability of the postal service of your country at that time. We will announce on our socials if anything prevents us from shipping to certain locations.In the event that tariffs rise and shipping from the US is no longer a viable option, we will be shipping from Singapore instead.

Contributors
All contributors are required to be at least 18 and above at the time of application. A Discord account is also required as communication will take place within our Discord server.The final count of contributors we are accepting will depend on the applications we receive.🎨 ARTISTS (Page or Fic/Layout)
Artists will be creating original artwork in the form of any of the following:✦ Single page illustration
✦ 2 page spread
✦ 2 to 3 half or layout illustrationsAs the project revolves around food, it is highly recommended artists pitch ideas featuring at least one dish that can be cooked in any Tales games. Otherwise, scenes in relation to food such as camping or preparation in the kitchen are also allowed.🔑 MERCH ARTISTS
Merch artists are expected to design at least 2 merch items for the zine, and assignments will be based on a pitching process upon acceptance. Merch artists should be comfortable with drawing multiple characters, and all designs should be relevant to food or cooking.🖋️ WRITERS
Writers will be creating an original piece of fiction within 2000 words. All stories must feature at least one recipe found in Tales.
